I have arrived in Tokyo!

My dearest loved ones.

First meal in Tokyo airport. See the teapot on the right? It actually contains miso soup which you can pour into your rice... Oishii!

Maybe that's why the air so fresh in Japan. ;) My room! It is like a small studio apartment! love it! (awaiting my updated photo with alot more decor)

Tokyo is definitely an impressive place.

The city area is bustling with life and there are just so many things! The 'Konbinis' (convenience stores) can stock up about 30 brands of cupnoodles, 10 brands of soba noodles etc. & even provide photocopy services. The 'Supa' (Supermarkets) are humongous and sell almost everything. I can imagine Joan squealing in delight if she sees all those spices sold here.

Well, and if you think that it's a chaotic & messy place, you are wrong. It really has a sense of order. Streets lead into small lanes into smaller paths, and sitting there can be a neat Ramen shop. On your way out, you might chance into a small temple.

Yet, people don't seem to be lost. There are all walking purposefully towards their destination! Of course, my new friends and I are left looking like lost ducklings.

Speaking of friends, I am excited to get to know them better because they are from such a variety of countries! From Nepal to Mongolia to Macedonia, I also met people from Indonesia, Malaysia, Russia and even Ghana!

It is about time to learn about everything with an open mind and fresh eyes again.

Love to all!
