Otaru - city of snow & lights ~

The 10th Otaru Snow Gleaming Festival was definitely a sight to remember. The theme for this year is "Starry Sky on Earth" and the artists had worked hard to portray the wonders of the magical lights that lit up the entire street. One distinctive character of the Snow Gleaming Festival is that many Korean volunteers who love Otaru support the festival in many ways. As such, it was really a good celebration of the work by both countries.
