Working alongside my dearest friends who have been nothing short of being highly responsible and committed to this project, always ready to share a laugh or song.. this experience has been an incredible one that touched me deeply. Thank you for all your support. Together, let's try our best to create something small that can 'make the world closer and distance shorter'.. :)

The Brightest Colors & My Lovely Friends...

It was indeed a memorable evening spent right here in TIEC. This was the view of the Tokyo Bay fireworks from the 13th floor of my building..

This was perhaps the most visually appealing fireworks I have seen so far. It starts with a golden arrow shooting up into the sky, before bursting into a series of colored rings, as shown in this photo! Doesn't it look amazing?

Dinner with Oybek's family was even more exciting because Taufik, Mai, Karen and Aisyah sang; Bakhtiyor and Oybek danced a traditional Uzbek dance and Taka-san sang a rendition of "i love you' with so much soul that it made some of us cry~ ;)

Everything in flashes

Lately, life's taken on a rollercoaster spin and everything seems to be passing by in flashes!

My life in Japan is just like the fireworks of Shinjuku last night.

Even though it is short, it is so bright and wonderful;

Together with a hundred shapes and colors, it is enough to light up a dark sky --

Tokyo 2009... I will continue the chapters and stories, day after day, right to its end!

***

After reading so many related journals, books and websites for my thesis research, I am now looking for something simple to tie everything together. The process has been long and sometimes tiring, but it is not without its rewards.
I then chanced upon these pictures as shown above and I like them so much! If I can put a bit of each picture into my paper.. it would be so wonderful! *filled with hope again*
